GENERAL INFORMATION ON ACCESSIBILITY & PARKING

The entire length of the Air Show site along Lincoln Memorial Drive between Lafayette Hill Road and Watertower Hill Road will be marked and reserved for ADA access during the entire weekend of the Air & Water Show. For best parking, we advise guests with disabilities to arrive before 8 AM. If you have a PAID Reserved Parking Pass, please plan to drop off your guest at either Gate 1, 2, or 3 on the east side of Lincoln Memorial Drive. Please note: Due to the location of the event, there are no other options available for ADA access.

DROP-OFF AND EVENT PARKING

Please plan on dropping off your guests with wheelchairs, walkers, etc., at the designated drop-off areas near Gate 1, 2,or 3, according to your ticket. The reserved, paid parking areas of the event are 100% GRASS PARKING. Please note: We do NOT have shuttle services from the grass parking areas to the entry gates, and operating mobility devices from the grass parking areas is not advised. All drop-offs can easily be accomplished by following these guidelines.

GATE 1 ACCESS

For those Air Show attendees with reserved event tickets, please use GATE 1 for the following type of tickets:

    • PRIVATE CORPORATE PARTIES – where the VIP guest pass states GATE 2 on the ticket
    • SKY CHALET VIP Tickets – states GATE 1 on the ticket
    • Any USAF THUNDERBIRD guest pass

IMPORTANT: Gate 1 is located on the corner of Lincoln Memorial Drive and Watertower Hill Rd. Please plan on arriving from the northbound lane along Lincoln Memorial Drive in order to drop off your parties at Gate 1, 2, or 3. If your party arrives from the southbound lane of Lincoln Memorial Drive, you may still drop your disabled guest off on that corner. Watch for parking volunteers and Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department traffic enforcement and follow their instructions. The driver may then continue to the north along Lincoln Memorial Drive, approximately 0.5 miles, to turn around and return to park in the reserved grass lots.

GATE 2 ACCESS

For those Air Show attendees with reserved tickets, please use GATE 2 for the following type of tickets:

    • PRIVATE CORPORATE PARTIES – where the VIP guest pass states GATE 2 on the ticket

Gate 2 is located midway along Lincoln Memorial Drive between Lafayette Hill Road and Watertower Hill Road, approximately 0.25 miles north of the entrance to the McKinley Marina, which is on the corner of Lafayette Hill Road. Please plan on arriving from the northbound lane along Lincoln Memorial Drive. If you arrive from the southbound lane, you must continue to the corner of Lafayette Hill Road and turn left into the McKinley Marina and turn around in order to drive north to Gate 2. After drop-off, the driver may then continue to the north along Lincoln Memorial Drive approximately 0.5 miles to turn around and return to park in the reserved grass lots.

GATE 3 ACCESS

For those air show attendees with reserved tickets, please use GATE 3 for the following type of tickets:

    • CENTERPOINT Reserved Tickets – states GATE 2 on the ticket
    • FLIGHT-LINE CLUB Reserved Tickets – states GATE 2 on the ticket
