The Air Show & Milwaukee County Parks
Since 2004, Milwaukee County Parks remains a major beneficiary of the annual Air & Water Show. Event goers are exposed to many different Milwaukee County Parks during the annual Air & Water Show. Those parks include Bradford Beach, McKinley Beach, Northpoint, War Memorial and Veteran’s Park.
The Milwaukee County Parks benefits from the annual Air & Water Show in the form of concession receipts at Bradford Beach, event-parking receipts, tourism value and branding. It is estimated that every year approximately 2,000 to 3,000 cars park at Lakefront for the Air & Water Show and Milwaukee County Parks charges $20 per parking ticket each year, allowing them to use that money to make Milwaukee County parks even better. Without Milwaukee County Parks, the Milwaukee Air & Water Show would not be such the large and unique event it is.
